I am a fan of Shawn Mendes. I just love his music and I always loved to get the chance to meet him. I was so happy when I found out he was coming to Dublin but sadly, I was away when he was in Dublin. I was pretty gutted because I really really like his music. Even though I was away I knew I was going to that concert, I just had a feeling. I came across the event on Facebook a few weeks after the date was released, and I realized that I would be back from my school trip the day of the concert! The Universe answered my request and now I just needed to get the tickets. I am imagined I already had them. My friend and I would be like ‘We are going to that concert!’.
It was a Monday and I was in art class. Our teacher said to draw something, basically whatever we wanted because it was the end of the year, so I decided to draw Shawn Mendes. I just knew I was going to the concert. My friend and I were walking home discussing that we were going and talking about how much fun we’re going to have at there. About 10 minutes later I got in the car to go to singing. I turned on the radio and there was an ad saying we are going to call one lucky person to be in the draw to meet Shawn Mendes and go to his concert. All you have to do is sing these next lyrics. So, I decided to text in and they called. I was in the draw and they were going to ring me on Thursday if I won the tickets.
It was Thursday and my school and I were down on a school trip and I was awaiting the call. I made sure I had a fully charged battery and that my phone was not on silent mode. I just knew in my heart I was going to get the call and I had my phone ready for that call.
Suddenly I felt the buzzing and heard the ringtone and my heart started racing. Basically, I won those tickets and the Universe has given me what I wished for! I went to the concert and it was amazing, he is so talented!!
